Blocker/pivot - Ped Maulers

For me, one of the hardest things to overcome on the track is communication because I'm a rather shy individual. My love for roller derby blossomed through the friendships I made and the ability to use the sport as an outlet for my anger. I have been skating recreationally since she was 8. I moved to Iowa City to receive my Bachelor’s in Spanish and English and joined the team in 2016.  When I'm not playing roller derby, I can be found running, with a book or video game, or at my job as the Grocery Manager at John’s Grocery. 

Likes: whiskey, popcorn, and R&B

Dislikes: shopping, dessert, and hugs
