We’re partnering up with Filmscene in the Iowa City Chauncey location to showcase this incredible documentary about the Minnesota All Stars! We’ll be doing a Q&A at the end of the showing to field questions you made have about roller derby and the team- featuring a player of ours who was on the Minnesota team at the time this documentary was filmed. The forces of light battle the forces of darkness at this year’s annual Monster’s Brawl! This is a costumed roller derby bout where we will be debuting last year’s bootcamp graduates! Check out the Facebook event page here .

What to bring:

-Insurance Card (You must have personal insurance to skate and in January you will be required to purchase WFTDA insurance ~$70 for the year)
-Waterbottle
-Mouthguard
We will do our best to find loaner skates that fit your shoe size. We will also have loaner protective gear available. (If you are looking to purchase your own gear ahead of time, send us a message for helpful recommendations.)
