I joined the team and did not discuss much with outsiders, figuring I would not make the cut. I started later than most, some might even say a bit of a mid-life crisis. My husband and 2 teenage children have indulged my roller derby love. I will forever cherish the activity, friendship, fun and fabulous stories (ask me about Lincoln sometime) roller derby has given me.
